Yang Perlu diketahui : sebenernya semua BB bisa di rebrand dengan cara dan dengan file VSM 002 yg ada di thread ini. bedanya hanya pd ukuran logo blackberry yg akan muncul pd splash screen, karena tiap BB berbeda ukuran screennya, sedangkan splash screen pd file VSM 002 di thread ini (sepertinya) ukurannya spesific untuk layar Bold..untuk fungsi lainnya tidak berpengaruh.
Rebranding :
-merubah vendor ID
-mengembalikan fungsi yg di lock oleh operator tertentu,misal : Network Mode selection : 2G – 3G (dilock oleh AT&T)
-voice codec selection : AMF-FR upgrage kualitas suara panggilan, hanya bs dilakukan dengan VSM 001 > Advanced Engineering mode (tdk dibahas disini)
-Reset Splash Screen saat boot kembali ke original BlackBerry, atau di rubah ke operator lain, atau custom made (bikin sendiri – tidak dibahas disini)

4. BB Desktop manager v 4.6 or later
5. BB Firmware terserah mau pake yg mana (yg penting sesuai dengan jenis BB nya), Install dan jgn lupa Delete file : vendor.xml di c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader
6. Komputer + windows XP + DotNet Framework 2.0 (blm gw coba di vista, tp di windows 7 ga jalan MFI nya)
Note Untuk Vista : klik kanan MFI Loader, Run as Admin.
Sebelum Mulai :
-Backup dulu data Blackberry
-Baca, baca, dan baca lagi tuts ini sampai lo paham. DO NOT MISS ANY OF THE STEPS, OR YOU’LL BE SORRY 
-Siapkan segelas kopi / teh untuk menemani + Tissue (just in case) 
-Baca doa
Step#1: Installing
-Install MML (MML Installer)
-copas semua file MML Data ke c:\MML (overwrite semua file)
–DISABLE internet & Network connection (di control panel)
Step#2: Semi-Unlocking (meskipun BB uda di unlock, tetep harus lewatin proses ini)
–Buka MFI : AutoStart dicentang | Full Erase JANGAN dicentang
-sambungkan BlackBerry ke USB
-Biarkan progie bekerja sampai di layar ada tulisan PASS
dan di BlackBerry ada tulisan : “1” di pojok kiri atas
-Diskonek BlackBerry dr USB
-Tutup MFI
Step#3: Re-Branding
-Buka kembali MFI : auto start jgn dicentang!!
-Pada progie MFI, tekan Ctrl+Alt+Shift+F12 untuk menampilkan Hidden menu, setelah hidden menu tampil, sambungkan BlackBerry ke USB
-Pilih “Load VSM” browse ke folder tempat file VSM yg td di download, dan LOAD file : VSM-09712-002
-Tunggu sampai ada tulisan : “VSM Loaded Succesfully” (kurang dari 1 detik)
-Diskonek BlackBerry dr USB, Tutup MFI
-di layar BlackBerry (masi tulisan “1”) pencet tombol back / tombol tutup telf / tombol apa aja jg bs, sampe ada tulisan “Phone in call…Radio is Off….”
Ketik : RON kemudian ketik : START hingga pd layar BlackBerry kluar tulisan “No Application Link Factory OS”
Step#4: Reloading Firmware
-Buka Application Loader (Program Files > Common Files > Research In Motion > AppLoader)
-ReLoad kembali firmware ke BlackBerry
Done!
